Solar energy or solar power it is nothing just the sunlight that travels from sun to earth's surface. Scientifically sun is the nearest star to earth, if sun don't exist then there cant be any life on planet earth.
The estimation about solar power usage is amazing, according to that one hour's sunlight haves enough energy that can meet whole earth's energy needs for one year. Well that's an estimate yet harnessing solar energy technology is still progressing rapidly. But still not at that level that it can overcome the energy needs of world.
HOW SOLAR POWER WORKS?
To know that how solar power works first we will have to understand that sun's energy we gets on earth through sunlight. Sunlight have to pass many layers on upper portion of earth and when it reached at surface of earth it is in form of visible and infrared radiations. The plants on earth use it for the process of photosynthesis, and humans mostly use it for heating.
In different forms solar energy is used, in homes people gets their clothes dried up through sun rays.

In this modern age technology is being advanced enough that sunlight is used to harness electricity. This is done through the solar panels. Now in markets many solar products are available also such as, solar light, solar chargers etc.
The technology is advancing rapidly! Though yet installing soalr panels at homes is not so cheap. But on long run they are more valuable asset for a home owner. As it pay's back one's investment with great profit. You spends money once to have solar panels and for years it gives you back free electricity.
Solar energy is used also for heating the water for home usage or for pools.
POLLUTION'S EFFECTS ON SUNLIGHT
Its hard to deny numerous benefits of solar energy. But there is a thing to worry also that pollution affecting sunlight and causing global dimming. Its happening because the atmosphere is polluted with carbon particles which are produced by reckless human activities. This is the thing which is causing global climatic changed too.
Therefore it is needed to some measures about that as for life existence on this planet sunlight is most important thing.
Aside from that crude oil resources around the world are reducing and future energy needs will heavily depend on solar energy.
